This is a roof rail antenna mount for the Land Rover Defender L663.

You can forget using a magnetic mount on the roof of your Defender as its made from aluminium !

If you have roof rails installed on your vehicle this bracket can be used to quickly and easily fit an antenna (CB/Ham/2 -way/Scanner etc).

The bracket comes with a 20mm antenna mounting hole, but also comes with an adapter to reduce this to 12.7mm so will suit a range of antennas.

There is also a secondary hole in the bracket for cable routing.

The bracket is made from 3mm stainless steel so will resist corrosion.

As the bracket is bare metal is can form part of the antenna grounding path (you may wish to run a separate grounding wire from the bracket - or ensure our channel nuts make good contact with the underside of the roof rail ).

The kit includes 2 of our channel nut assemblies which simply slot into the roof rail channel to form a captive nut.

This mount is also compatible with the expedition roof rack.

The mount could be fitted facing inwards or outwards.

This is not a genuine Land Rover item.
