Roof Box Spacer/Fitting Kit for Land Rover Defender L663 Expedition Roof Rack (2025+ rack)

Roof Box Spacer/Fitting Kit for Land Rover Defender L663 Expedition Roof Rack (2025+ rack)

'Roof Box Spacer Kit' for Expedition Roof Rack (2025 onwards)

for Land Rover Defender L663

This listing is for a spacer kit for the Land Rover Defender L663 the 'Expedition' roof rack.

Note: These spacers will work with roof racks from 2025 onwards - earlier versions of the roof rack look identical but the ends of the bars are slightly different (see photo).

This kit will 'lift' 2 of the cross bars which allow you to fit a Thule (or Thule style) roof box to your expedition roof rack.

These work by removing the retaining bolts from the ends of the cross bars - fitting our spacer blocks - then secure bar in to place with the supplied longer bolts.

The Thule roof box has 2 recesses which usually sit onto 2 cross bars - however this is not possible on the roof rack due to the number of cross bars (all at the same level).

The kit includes:

  • 2x pairs of cross bar spacers
  • 2x pairs of end caps
  • 4x stainless steel bolts for securing the spacers
  • 4x spare stainless steel bolts - these are spares for re-fitting your cross bars to the original position if needed
  • 1x Torx bit

The blocks are made from injection moulded ABS plastic, and the end caps are 3D printed ABS.

This kit is shaped to fit the Thule manufactured Expedition roof rack which is sold by Land Rover as an accessory for the Defender.

This is not a genuine Land Rover item.
