Spare Wheel Mount Kit for Side Gear Carrier

This kit will alllow you to mount a side gear carrier box to the spare wheel on the Land Rover Defender L663.

The side gear carrier boxes are great bits of kit that are designed to fit to the right hand side of the Defender.

We have designed a mount that will enable you to mount a box to the spare wheel.

At the heart of this kit are our custom extended wheel nuts which replace the standard spare wheel nuts to give you a mounting point for accessories.

Included in this kit is a 3mm black powder coated aluminium mounting plate ( Light weight and will not rust ! ) which mounts to the extended nuts and has the correct holes for the gear carrier.

One advantage of this kit is that it forms a locking kit for your spare wheel !

This kit cannot be used with a spare wheel cover.

Your standard wheel brace can be used to tighten/undo the nuts and custom bolts (22mm head) so your accessories can easily be removed if you need to access your spare wheel.

The kit includes:

• 3pc Extended wheel nut kit
• Black powder coated aluminium mounting plate
• Fitting kit of spacers, nuts and bolts

You will need to purchase a side gear carrier separately.

NOTE - these wheel nuts are not intended to be used for your main wheels - just for securing your spare wheel!
